About Gancio….

This stallion with his very interesting and exclusive bloodline, was a striking appearance at the BWP stallion approval of 2020 and so he was accepted as a stallion. Thanks to his stunning exterior, striking good gaits, a lot of scope and suppleness and extreme carefulness he was one of the most striking stallions of this approval. During every competition and trainingsession he always shows his riding comfort and his very good character.

His father, Gino H, is the half-brother of the legendary Stallion Hickstead. Gino H himself is a stallion with blood, unseen suppleness, respect and an excellent character. These characteristics are passed on to his offspring. His successors are always striking and modern horses.

Even more interesting is the damline of Gancio van ‘t Smisveld Z. His dam, Louise van het Dalemhof (Nabab de Rêve x Malito de Rêve), is the only daughter of the world famous mare Gancia De Muze. Gancia De Muze has won innumerable Grand Prix with her rider Niels Bruynseels. Not many will match the prize money earned by this combination. They won the 5* GP of Brussel and Cannes in 2019. In 2018 they won the 5* GP of Knokke and ‘s Hertogenbosch and they became the winning team of the Nations Cup in Barcelona. In 2017 they won the 5* GP of Mechelen, Brussel and Basel and in 2016 they won the 5* GP of Helsinki.
